Buzup is a content sharing and scheduling platform that enables creators to connect their audiences with their most recent and relevant content. One of our core values is to pursue deliberate simplicity — so we’ve tried to distill our terms and conditions into their simplest, most accessible form here.

1. Welcome to Buzup!

It’s great to have you here. These Terms & Conditions, along with the linked policies ("Terms"), govern your use of our services which include https://www.buzup.me/ and related software or features (collectively referred to as the “Platform” or “Buzup”).

When we use terms like “we,” “our,” or “us” in these Terms, we’re talking about Buzup and any affiliated group companies.

By using Buzup, you’re agreeing to these Terms. Additionally, our help articles include important information relating to your use of our Platform. Please take the time to read these Terms carefully, and feel free to get in touch if you have any questions. If you don’t agree with these Terms, please don’t use Buzup.

2. Changes to these Terms

Buzup is constantly evolving and improving. From time to time we may make changes to the Platform or these Terms. We may need to change these Terms to reflect business updates, changes to the Platform (including if we decide to discontinue any functionality, features or part of the Platform), legal or commercial reasons, or otherwise to protect our legitimate interests. We can make these changes at any time and it’s your responsibility to check these Terms now and then for any changes.

If we make a change that will have a material negative effect on you, as reasonably determined by us, we’ll use our best efforts to notify you at least one (1) month before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after any changes to the Terms is taken as your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you don’t agree with the changes, we ask you to please stop using Buzup and terminate your account in accordance with Clause 10. Suspension or Termination of Your Account.

3. Your Account

To create an account and become a Buzup user, you agree to comply with these Terms and confirm that you’re over 18 and legally able to accept these Terms. You must provide us with accurate information about yourself and in some cases, you may be required to verify your account or third party accounts. You are responsible for keeping this information up to date so if anything changes, please let us know so we can update your details.

Limited Buzup user accounts, which allow individuals to interact with Buzup Profiles (for example, by subscribing, messaging, or purchasing), are deemed Buzup Users and are subject to these Terms and all applicable policies.

If you’re using Buzup on behalf of a business or individual, you confirm that you’re authorized by them to agree to these Terms on their behalf.

You’re responsible for the security of your account and ensuring it is only used in a lawful manner. We recommend that you create a strong password and do not share this with anyone. If you think your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately. You must not assign or transfer your account to someone else or use your account (or allow it to be used by anyone) in a way which in our reasonable opinion, causes damage to Buzup or our reputation, or infringes another’s rights or applicable laws and regulations. You also agree that you will not use automated devices such as bots or scripts to create multiple accounts.

4. Your Username

When you create a Buzup account, you’ll need to choose a suitable username that respects everyone’s rights. We understand your username holds significance, but it must also be appropriate for all users and avoid infringing on anyone’s rights, including intellectual property (“IP”) rights like copyright and trademarks. You can’t use someone else’s name, like a celebrity or brand, or pick a username that’s offensive, vulgar, or unrelated just to profit from it later (referred to as “Domain Squatting”).

If any issues arise with your username, we’ll assess the situation fairly and may ask you to change it (it might be reassigned too). If you decline, we may suspend or terminate your account. If someone claims your username violates their IP rights, they must file an Intellectual Property report, and you’ll have the chance to respond with a Counter Notice.

If you haven’t logged in, added new links, or seen traffic on your account for the past 6 months, we may, in our discretion, reclaim or reassign your username without notice.

5. Managing Your Plan

You can sign up to Buzup on a free or paid plan, through a free trial or promotional coupon code and cancel at any time. Your plan will start when you accept these Terms and continue until a) you terminate it or b) we cancel it in accordance with these Terms (see Clause 10. Suspension or Termination of Your Account). By initiating your first subscription fee payment, you authorise us to charge you recurring subscription fees on an ongoing basis. UNLESS YOU NOTIFY US OF YOUR INTENT TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION (IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE CANCELATION TERMS SET OUT IN THIS CLAUSE 5), YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION WILL AUTOMATICALLY CONTINUE AND YOU AUTHORISE US TO AUTOMATICALLY CHARGE YOUR PAYMENT METHOD FOR THE AMOUNT OF YOUR SUBSCRIPTION FEE AND ANY APPLICABLE TAXES ON EACH PERIODIC RENEWAL DATE. We acknowledge that some states and countries have mandatory laws regarding your cancelation rights and therefore, this paragraph will not override those laws.

We reserve the rights, at our sole discretion, to make changes to or modify our subscription plans at any time. Such changes or modifications may include, but are not limited to, adding new features or functionalities to a subscription plan (which may increase the subscription fees), discontinuing or removing features or functionalities from a subscription plan (which may decrease the subscription fees) and increasing or decreasing the different types of subscription plans that are available. If we do so, we will provide you with reasonable advance notice of any changes that we reasonably determined to have a material effect. If you continue to use the Platform after the effective date of any changes, this means that you have agreed to sign up to the new subscription plan which may include an increase or decrease to the subscription fees that you are paying. If you do not agree, you may cancel your subscription in accordance with our cancelation policy below.

If you cancel a paid plan it will ordinarily continue until the end of your current billing cycle and then automatically convert to a free plan. To cancel, please visit your billing page in your admin. To the extent permitted by applicable law, payments are non-refundable. However, we know that sometimes your requirements may change. So, if you’ve selected a paid plan, but cancel within 72 hours, we may, in our discretion, make an exception. Please email us at support@buzup.me.

If you downloaded our app and purchased your plan using your Apple ID or Google Play Store account, you’ll need to cancel by following the instructions provided by Apple or Google. Please note that Buzup is unable to process refunds in these circumstances. You can request a refund from Apple on the Apple Support webpage or Google by following these instructions. If you have canceled your plan and would like to permanently delete your account, you can do so via the admin page. Remember, if you delete your account, you won’t be able to reactivate it or retrieve any of the content or information you have added to your profile.

6. Your Content

We love the variety of content that our users post on Buzup! However, we want to ensure that everyone who visits the Platform can do so safely – that’s why we have our Community Standards. These standards set out what content is and isn’t allowed on Buzup, so please make sure you follow them, otherwise we may suspend or permanently remove your account.

When we talk about your “content”, we mean the text, graphics, videos, links, messages, broadcasts, notifications, AI-generated responses and media, products and any other materials you add to your Buzup profile or any materials used to interact with visitors or consumers through your Buzup profile. You’re responsible for your content and you warrant that:

  • The content you post is yours, or you have the necessary rights to share third-party content
  • Your content will not infringe on anyone’s privacy, publicity, intellectual property, or any other rights
  • Your content is accurate, honest, not misleading or deceptive, and does not violate any laws or harm our reputation
  • Your content does not contain viruses, malware or disruptive code
  • Your content does not contain automated collection tools or scraping tools
  • You will refrain from posting unauthorized ads, solicitations or endorsements
  • Your content aligns with our Community Standards

Since laws and regulations may differ across regions, we might ban content considered legal in some regions but not others. We reserve the right to remove or restrict content to keep Buzup safe.

7. What We Can Do with Your Content

When you post content on your Buzup profile, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, publicly display, distribute, modify, adapt and create derivative works of such content, and to use your name, image, voice, photograph, likeness and any personal attributes in the content, on the Platform and in our marketing. You agree you have all rights necessary to grant us this license.

You retain all rights in your content. Keep in mind your content will be publicly accessible and may be re-shared by others. Please don’t share personal info you don’t want visible to the world. Never post sensitive personal info unless you have consent and keep a record of it. We might choose to review or moderate content, but aren’t obliged to.

We may modify, remove or restrict access to content at any time and may apply sensitive content warnings to unsuitable content.

8. Your Responsibility to Your Visitors and Customers

You are responsible for how visitors (“Profile Visitors”/“End Users”) engage with your profile and content, and for ensuring your interactions and transactions with End Users comply with applicable laws and third party policies (such as payment providers). You may allow End Users to support you through donations – all donations are voluntary and not for goods or services.

9. Monetizing Your Content

You may participate in Buzup’s Monetization Programs such as selling digital products/services or collecting Partner Earnings (e.g., affiliate commissions). Monetization uses third-party payment and payout providers. To participate, you may be required to sign applicable agreements and provide relevant information (identity/KYC/payment info), and you must satisfy all eligibility criteria. See our website for current program details.

All sales of digital products or services are direct transactions between you (Seller of Record) and your End Users, and you are responsible for compliance, fulfillment, refunds, chargebacks etc.

If you earn commission or have a paid partnership, you must comply with applicable disclosure laws. You may not mislead about commission status. If you receive gifts and disclosure is legally required, you must comply.

10. Suspension or Termination of Your Account

We may suspend or terminate your account or limit Platform features if you breach these Terms or policies, fail to pay fees, misuse Monetization Programs, or are legally required to do so. Where possible, we’ll notify you beforehand, but this is not guaranteed. We may also terminate accounts for inactivity (e.g., after 6 months). No refunds are due unless required by law. We are not responsible for lost content or downgraded features after suspension/termination. For account concerns, contact us at support@buzup.me.

11. Feedback

If you give us feedback or participate in beta features, we can use your suggestions freely, and beta features may not be as reliable. Your input may help us improve Buzup.

12. Our Platform

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Platform to share and interact with content, subject to these Terms. We and our licensors retain all rights in the Platform except for your content. You are not allowed to use our IP, brand, or automate data collection unless permitted.

If you use Buzup as a visitor, you may view/interact with profiles, but any transactions are between you and the Seller/brand; Buzup has no liability for such dealings.

13. Fees and Payment

If you’re on a paid plan, you must pay subscription fees (plus applicable taxes) on time. Fees are billed in advance and auto-renew unless you cancel. Transaction and processing fees may apply to Monetization Programs and are deducted before payout. We may update fees and will provide reasonable notice—if you don’t agree, cancel your subscription.

14. Tax Requirements

You’re responsible for all applicable taxes related to your fees and Monetization earnings. Taxes may be collected, withheld, or reported in accordance with relevant laws. If you are eligible for exemption, you must supply documentation in advance. Payment processors or Buzup may electronically file required tax forms/reports if required.

15. Policy

Our Policy and related guidelines describe how we handle your data. Use of the Platform is subject to our Policy and, where applicable, our Data Processing Addendum (DPA). All data generated by us or the Platform remains the property of Buzup.

16. Confidentiality

If we share confidential information with you (like beta features), you must keep it secret and use reasonable measures to protect it.

17. Recommended Content

We may recommend content or products for you or your audience, but recommendations do not imply Buzup’s endorsement.

18. Liability

We are not responsible for how you use the Platform or for your data backups, equipment or losses resulting from use. You agree to indemnify us for breach of these Terms or if someone claims your content caused them harm. In no event are we liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the greater of any fees paid in the last 12 months or AUD $100.

19. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, virus-free, or fit-for-purpose service. These disclaimers apply to the maximum extent allowed by law.

20. Third-party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, Stripe). Your use of those services is subject to their own terms and privacy notices. We do not guarantee or endorse third-party services and are not responsible for issues arising from their use. See our Privacy Notice for subprocessors, and our site for third-party terms.

21. App Terms

If using our app, you are granted a limited license to install and use it on one device. App Store or Google Play terms may also apply. If your account is canceled, please delete the app from your device. For app issues or claims, contact support@buzup.me.

22. Open Source

Our app may use open source software subject to their own license terms. See the ‘Legal’ section in the app for details; where those licenses conflict with these Terms, the open source license applies.

23. A Few Last Things

Additional laws and terms may apply depending on your location. These Terms, the Privacy Notice, and any linked policies are our full agreement with you. If any part is invalid, the rest still applies. Disputes are governed by the laws of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia. Contact support@buzup.me for help or questions.
